IT Partner Manager

Metso Strategic IT Sourcing unit is responsible for IT category management and sourcing activities such as managing global IT suppliers together with IT Virtual Team, leading RFx processes and contract negotiations to ensure Metso expectations are met. We are strengthening our team of 6 professionals with new IT Partner Manager role. IT Partner Manager will play a key role in implementing a new supplier relationship management (SRM) model to Metso and taking responsibility of the named Tier-1 and 2nd level suppliers. We are looking for a person with proactive and responsible working style. Your preferred working location is in Espoo, but we are working on hybrid mode.

Key responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and development of SRM model together with Head of Strategic IT Sourcing
Establish the methods to assess the supplier performance and implement relevant supplier KPIs
Run large RFx processes in global business environment
Partner with key stakeholders from IT, business and legal organization to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks through negotiations
Ensure cost effective contracts
Collaborate with key suppliers according to new governance model
Support IT Sourcing Managers to reduce the contract backlog

Requirements:
Several years of experience in leading IT supplier governance and key KPIs
Proven track record of supporting large and business critical RFx processes
Strong understanding of relevant IT contract templates and contract clauses
Capability to negotiate global agreements independently
Good collaboration skills
Good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Fluency in English
