Job Description


As a member of the Container Rental Team, the Container Rental Representative is responsible for issuing import and export container rental invoices while managing inquiries related to container rental invoices, exemptions, disputes and waivers/credits.

Key accountabilities

  • Weekly reconciliation of containers to be invoiced to ensure invoices are complete and processed timely.
  • Analyze container dwell times and perform other analyses as requested.
  • Implement statistics on disputes managed to assess volume of invoices, aging of disputes, $ value of disputes, and reason for dispute, to track & mitigate root causes.
  • Deliver weekly reports on Top 20 customers invoiced, collected & disputed.
  • Ensure weekly exemptions are reviewed & applied.
  • Weekly audits to be implemented by the Container Rental Team to identify invoice discrepancies to improve/ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Deliver weekly waiver & collections report (consisting of actions performed & payment plans)

Qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently, with a range of skills a basic understanding of system analysis and data analytics.
  • Comfortable working with various internal systems.
  • Reporting and analytical skills required.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred (or relevant experience in another role).
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English with bilingualism (French and English) preferred.
  • Shipping experience is an asset.
